Running Music

Options
Running in the winter is not my favorite past time, but I really want to keep at it so I am ready for my early-spring halfs (halves?).

I'm thinking maybe revamping my running music will help keep me interested and increase my speed.

I usually listen to:

Disturbed (the night, stricken, inside the fire, indestructible, asylum, stupify, decadence....)
Three Days Grace (never too late, gone forever, riot)
Korn (freak on a leash, coming undone, blind)
and some random drowning pool, metallica, guns n roses, bon jovi, ozzy, eminem, coldplay

would love some suggestions!!!

Levels by Avicii :) Quiet a different style then what you usually listen too, but change is always good! Good luck!

My boyfriend and I have varied musical tastes so I let him put some stuff on my ipod.....love it.
    A few fav's were;

The Dead Weather - Blue Blood Blues

    Pretty Lights
    Bassnectar
Girl Talk - all of those are kinda dance/techno/dub-step - which I don't listen to, but have found it's awesome to run to.

Some of my stand -by's - The White Stripes
    The Rolling Stones
    Eminem - Lose Yourself
    Kanye - Stronger

I like running to rock-y stuff too - on my iPod at the mo there is:
    Them Crooked Vultures
    You Me At Six
    Foo Fighters
    The White Stripes
    The Vaccines
Pendulum (not really rock, but about the only dance music I can stand. Wicked for running to though)

www.jogtunes.com has a list of songs by beats per minute so that you can keep pace with the speed of your workout and select the genre you like. I downloaded several different beat patterns so that I have different speeds depending on my workout....all 130 bpm and higher.

YES with All My Life and The Pretender from Foo Fighters (I'd like to add Breakout). Other favorites of mine:

Transplants - Tall Cans In The Air, Diamonds and Guns, and DJ, DJ
Limp Bizkit - Break Stuff, N 2 Gether Now, Just Like This
Cage the Elephant - In One Ear, Ain't No Rest for the Wicked
Metallica - Sad But True, Master, Fuel
(Hed)P.E. - Bartender, I Got You, Feel Good
    incubus - Megalomaniac, Switchblade, Pistola
    Linkin Park - Papercut

And, sadly, I lost my copy of Follow the Leader, but I would DEFINITELY have All in the Family and Children of the Korn on there, if I could!
