So starting Saturday I am going on a cruise. I plan on working out everyday and making good choices but wondering if anyone has tips on how to keep with the program while on a cruise. I don't think I'll be updating MFP while i'm gone and there will most likely be more than a little drinking!

-Do not step on an elevator! (O.K. I'll give you a pass when you first get on the ship and have your carry-on luggage).
-Don't eat it all because it is there. A lot of cruise food is just O.K. So don't overload on it-you will get your next meal I promise!
-Try and avoid the sweet tray at breakfast (for me at least, it sets me up for wanting sugar the rest of the day).
-If something is not delicious-don't finish it.
    -Enjoy yourself-it's vacation!

As long as you do workout (and I personally love running/walking around the promenade deck or jogging track while at sea) every day and you are aware of what you are eating (in other words-no bingeing) and you are moderate in your drinking you should be O.K. We are veteran cruisers and I rarely come home with anything more than a 2-3 lb. gain and it's lost fairly fast afterwards.

    have fun!

Great advice! We are on deck 10, I'm not sure if that is the same as the 10th floor but you are right. If I don't take the elevator then that will help! I especially like the "if it isn't delicious, don't finish it". Good call.
