30 Day Shred question...?

I just ordered the 30 Day Shred off amazon[it should be here tomorrow] what do I need to do the workout?

I want to get everything tonight before the DVD arrives and then I want to try the 30 Day Shred tomorrow.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place I had no idea where to post it.

    Hand weights, 3 or 5 lb and a place to do it (TV/DVD player and soft surface)

    You will need a yoga mat and hand weights. I think she uses 3lbs but I used higher (5lbs-10). It all depends on your strength. She uses lighter because you are doing the same movement and if you go too heavy you will not be able to complete it.
  • Two small weights. I used two cans of soup the first week - which still killed. And a matt if you're working on a hard surface. Carpet is fine. That's it. It's amazing how little space you actually use vs how great of a work out it is. Stretch. And start drinking extra water now ;)

    You need hand weights and if you have a hard floor with no carpet, then a mat. It is too hard to do pushups and crunches on a hard floor. I did not buy hand weights, I use 1 pound cans out of the cupboard and 32 ounce water bottles full of water. You might want to try something like that before buying 3 or 5 pound weights to see how much weight you will regularly want to work with.
