Soooo I balance my calories like a checkbook... I spend a lot but I earn a lot.
I eat just under 2000 a day but work out anywhere between 700 - 1000 calories a day. I loose like 1-2 lbs every 1-2 weeks. I'm rarely ever hungry and I was told that if you're always full then your body isn't burning. The hungry sensation is your body burning calories, which I think is BS. Any help here would be awesome.

What do you need help with? Being hungry? You don't need to be hungry to lose weight but there is something to be said for allowing your stomach to empty and truly entering a post-prandial state where fat loss is predominant.

I don't know if it's burning calories when one feels hungry. If that was true, why have I become skinny yet? LOL

    Oh, haha :)

You don't have to be hungry...the laws of thermodynamics rule, and if you need more calories than you consume, you'll have to use body fat eventually. That being said, when you're truly hungry and your blood sugar is low, you will oxidize fat preferentially for energy; this begins to happen about 3-4 hours after your last meal. When you eat again, you are primarily using glucose for energy. That just means that you're burning the bulk of your fat when you're asleep.

    uhh.
    you're eating normally.
    you're exercising.
you're losing weight at a normal healthy rate.
    you feel fine.

i dont see the issue here.

if it helps, i sometimes feel hungry, but i ignore it, and... it goes away. lol.

We've got a whole forum on here of ladies on here who like to eat. Most of us eat around 2K a day, but we work out hard, too!

I always wonder about this: which way is better? Eat less and exercise moderate or eat more and exercise hard? I have heard often saying that our bodies are like machines. Yes it needs fuel but at the same time doesn't that mean the more you use it, the more it will be worn out?

I guess I need help to verify this, too. LOL

Eat/exercise more is definitely better. I miss the days when I had time to do that. Now I have to work out to match my schedule and my food intake, neither of which support a lot of activity at the moment!
