Wifey and I started going to gym 3 weeks ago. I lost 10 lbs and am totaly stuck now. Have not lost any weight in a week. Planet Fitness has the ARC it is a awesome machine I use it for 40 to 60 min then a bit of strength training and end with recumbant bike for 15 min. I keep intake at about 2000 cal and burn like 1000. I am stuck and any advice would be great. Thanks Thanks

Not eating enough for a man if you're burning 1000. Keep your net above 1500 at a minimum. Judging from your jaw line you're not exactly built like a girl, so don't eat like one.0

You may need to switch up what exercises you're doing. Your body gets used to the same thing over and over again. I also agree with the above poster. You need to up your calorie intake a little bit. Good luck!0

Yeah, switch it up!
Also, you might be buildling muscle with the strength training you're doing. I'd recommend getting regular measurements because you may be losing inches! Also try getting your BMI measured (with the fat pincher thing, lol...)... they take measurements on 9 places of your body to calculate a very accurate BMI (not just using a calculator like MFP does with your height/weight/age kind of thing)...
When I had my BMI checked it was very encouraging because it was SIGNIFICANTLY lower than I thought it would be... I had started out at about 31% and got down to 24%! I was so impressed with myself... and I had actually stayed at the same weight for almost a month but had dropped inches/fat.... don't let the scale play mind tricks with you, because it can be very discouraging...
good luck to you both!0 -
I would increase your calorie intake and switch up your workouts. My husband does around 40 minutes to an hour of strength training and then does about 30 minutes of cardio. And he doesn't do cardio after every workout. He strength trains for 4 days and does cardio on 1 or 2 of those days.
Mens bodies are very different from womens. You burn higher calories by default. (Hate you by the way for that - LOL  ) Anywho, you can still lose weight by doing this type of workout. I know my husband does. Good luck!0
