I have been over weight for quite a while, since I was about 15. Constantly being self conscious and hiding your body isn't fun. On New years I became engaged to a man I have been dating solidly for a year and a half. We met in 10th grade, I was a sophomore and he was a senior. We didn't really become more than acquaintances until the next year, when he was graduated and, while walking home from work ran into me walking home from taking the late bus home from school. (I had to do so everyday because I attended BOCES in the afternoon) He started walking me home nearly everyday and we became good friends. After 6 or 7 months we started dating, nothing serious but we went to prom together. It didn't last because he needed to grow up. I gave him another chance after that and it still didn't work. Fast forward to the summer before I went off to college, I knew he would ask again, but I had promised myself to go to college single to try it out, test the water and such. We dated over the summer, but it was then that I truly fell in love with him. I had to keep my promise to myself though, so for 3 weeks we were apart and not dating, but then he sent me a letter saying that he was ready for a serious and committed relationship, something that was a HUGE step for him. So now, 18 months later and we are happily engaged. Not sure on the date yet, we want to live together for a year first, but when that day does come, I want to look absolutely gorgeous in my dress, and I don't want to have to look in the plus size section either!

So there's my story of where my new found inspiration is, feel free to add me and we can help to motivate each other!

^_^

Welcome. Feel free to add me if you like, but beware, I will be pushy. I will constantly tell you to eat your exercise calories. I promise it will work and you wont feel fatigued or weak from lack of food. Watch the statement when you finish logging for the day, if it says you are eating to few of calories, listen to that little guy, he knows what he's saying. Never let your NET calories go below 1200. Never, never, never. That's my rule and I'll yell at you for it all the time. :flowerforyou:

Soo....after all that, if you'd like to add me, I'd be happy to be your friend.
