Walden Farms Calorie Free Foods

Just wondering what's your opinion on the Walden Farms Calorie Free line of foods? My Dad bought the Chocolate dipping sauce once & after one bite promptly threw it out. Terrible! There is a huge selection at the local market and a pretty extensive list here on MFP. So, Im assuming that some of the products are at least palatable. If any of you have tried them, please let me know if they are any good... or just anoher gimmic. Thanks!

I love the pancake syrup. The chocolate syrup is also really good. The afredo is good. And the tomato basil is okay. Havent tried the others though...0

Was the Chocolate Syrup in a jar or bottle? My dad bought the Dipping Sauce in a jar & it tasted horrible!0

I have the ranch dressing...yeah not as good as normal dressing but it'll get the job done for now. The Balsamic Vinegar dressing however....OMFG I threw it away promptly along with my salad lol0

The syrup is AMAZING! It's a little watery compared to real syrup, but it's awesome..... the other stuff is just OK, but it's a great alternative. Most of the other stuff, the dressings and dessert/sweet stuff.... I think would be better in cooking, but not eaten alone. My husband likes the caramel and marshmellow fluff alone, but I'm not much of a fan... BUT I'm sure as an alternative in baking/cooking it would be great....0

I tried the Ceaser dressing and it tastes pretty gross and watery. BUT I found that if I combine it with another bottle and do a half and half mix it is just fine.0

I also like the chocolate syrup and pancake syrup. Others not so good.0

The pancake syrup is good...too expensive though.0

I actually like quite a few of them. The blue cheese and caramel syrups are probably my favorites. The fruits spreads, especially blueberry and grape, are serviceable too. I actually review these on my blog, http://www.crazyfooddude.com, if you want to check some of the reviews out to see which ones I found to be decent and then you can base your purchases off of that information.0

I smelled one of the salad dressings and could smell the chemical that they use (it just didn't smell right). Now, I can't psyche myself into trying any of their stuff 'cause I just assume they all have that chemical in them.0

I've had the asian dressing and the seseme ginger and I loved both of them.0
