    heres a yummy breakfast, or lunch, or snack......:laugh:

    Toast and english muffin in a 350 degree oven for 5 mintues

    Top with:

    Avacado slices (I usually use 1/4)
    Tomato slices
    Pepperjack cheese
    Fresh cilantro

    Back in the oven till cheese melts.............soooooooo good and filling!

    edit for calories:

    Calories: 287
    Carbs: 28
    Fat: 15
    Protein: 12

    of course it varies on the brands you use for the cheese and english muffin

    Boo. I like them, but I'm allergic. My mouth, tongue, and throat swell up when I eat them.

    Like the above poster I eat an avacodo almost daily, it is nearly 250 calories and high in fat (the good kind), oh yea and most importantly it tastes great!

    Oh Thank Goodness I'm not the only one! I started making fresh guacamole almost every other day starting in July, and I'm having such a hard time not having it while dieting. I don't feel bad about the guacamole itself, just the tortilla chips I eat it with. Any suggestions on what to eat it with instead of the tortilla chips? Or a low cal tortilla chip? I made tacos the other night (I did taco salad) just so I could have the guacamole, lol. I love guacamole!

    Avacados are one of my all time favorite foods. I have them at least once a day and always use it as the spread on my sanwhich instead of mayo or mustard.

    I was buying Wholly Guacamole and putting it on cucumber slices just so I could have the guac without the chip calories. Not as much fun, but still good!

    I am almost obsessed with this food, I love it so much!!
    Unfortunately I do know it's very high in calories considering its in the produce/veggie section of the store and I have begun to limit myself.

    I love avocado and eat it regularly in salads, on sandwiches instead of butter, on toast and straight out of the shell. It is high in calories though so I only ever eat 1/2 of one at a time.
