dairy perhaps? rice does it for me. is it your tummy or gas pains? did they check for an ulcer maybe? ive never had one, but ive heard its painful. i was probably no help. sorry.
i know when i had to start giving my children food, i had to wait like a week in between each new food, to see if there were any reactions like this, or allergic reactions. have you tried doing this with your foods?
also if i drink alot of orange juice or apple juice i get a horrible tummy ache.0 -
Something similar happened to me and it turned out to Irritable Bowel Syndrome. There was no rhyme or reason to it and upon further research, that what I found to be true. If it continues, I would go to the doctor jut to confirm things and to make sure it's nothing more. I had to end up going on a mild muscle reliever and taking a digestive enzyme before or right after my meals REALLY helps.
Good luck to ya!0 -

I've had IBS.
Also have an ulcer, which causes extreme pain.
Check with your doctor. :flowerforyou:0 -

I have IBS too. When I told the GE my symptoms, he saw me an hour later (there was more than just pain) . It's important to get acute pain checked out ASAP--there is a LOT of stuff in your abdomen, and it's all important! I now have a rx for an anti-spasmodic that reduces my post-exercise abdominal pain.0 -
Only very rarely when I have bad gas or when I've eaten something that's WAY too greasy. I CANNOT eat fatty and greasy foods - they're disgusting to me because of how sick they make me sometimes.0

Keep us posted as to how you are. I hope you will be okay. :flowerforyou:0

Where is the pain? Does it radiate anywhere?
What is its quality (Sharp, dull, throby, burning, stabbing)?
I know you mention that you can't associate it with any one food, but does it happen whenever you eat? What about when you don't eat, do you still get the pain?
When you get the pain, how long does it last?
Does it flucuate once it starts, or is it constant?
You also mentioned that you got an ultrasound of your gallbladder, did they mention what your kidney looked like? Did you go to the ER to have that done?
Any family history of gallstones? Kidney Stones? Ulcers? IBS? Any other GI diseases?0
