As anyone else changed their goals and NOT gone as far down as they originally intended or as far as the recommended weight for their height? .. whether its because you were worried about getting an eating disorder or you have some other health issue or disability which meant you maybe better stopping earlier?

I reached 140lbs.. I'm thrilled with that.. I'm in the size 14 outfit comfortably!

I would like to see 9st something looking back at me when I step on the scale but I'm not not sure I want to go as low as 9st 3 (recommended by wii fit for my age and BMI)

My tummy is still a little biggger than I would like, (I'd probably get in a 12 if it was flat!).. I think it just needs tightening up a bit.. I'm not sure if a load more cardio will help, I can just envision the top of me getting too thin to a point I don't like and still been left with a little saggy pouch!

so I'm changing my plan.. I figure if I stick to the diet, and focus more on tummy toning for a while and see if I can tighten it up, I also want to focus more on back strength as it will help my ataxia and balance if my core muscles are all strong.

Keeping moving the rest of the time won't be much of a problem as my movements when I'm trying to do anything like type etc are quite jerky and I get involuntary movements at rest also (unless I'm fast asleep) I should be able to lose the last few pounds just by the calorie deficit rather than going mad with loads of extra cardio.

My journey was supposed to be about my health and I have to think a little futher ahead too as my condition does progress and there will come a point the movements get more vigorous and I will burn more and more and then be struggling to maintain a stable weight. If I go too thin now its not giving me much leeway for the future or to allow for illness.

Although its not a pleasant thought some people with in the advanced stages of Ataxia have difficulties with choking frequently on food so have to have a feeding tube placed in the stomach. This maybe something I have to face in the future and weight usually drops off quickly as you can't get the same nutrients from an artifical liquid going straight into the stomach that you can get from eating natural food and the digestion process.

I think for now if I can get somewhere between 9st 7 and 9st 12, I may switch to just trying to maintain that and work on the core strength for back, stomach, sitting balance etc

I just wondered if anyone else had changed their goals or didn't want to change them in case people thought they had failed?
