Getting back in shape again, this time with Wife!

Hey folks! I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Dan from Oklahoma and on January 1 I started a fresh diet to drop about 30 pounds. I've actually been really successful dieting in the past, about three years ago I dropped 90 pounds and went from nearly 250 to 160. I kept the weight off a couple of years

Last year I met this girl, fell in love, forgot about dieting and working out, and put on 40 pounds. So on January 1 me and my new bride started dieting and working out together. My goal is to drop thirty to forty pounds and my wife is looking to loose close to 90.

So we are 25 days in and we have both lost about 10 pounds. I've found it is a lot more fun dieting and working out with someone then it was doing it alone. Going in I thought I'd have the advantage as I have a lot of experience and knowledge around dieting, but my wife's determination, drive, and persistence is truly amazing. I'm having to work hard to keep up.

So far MyFitnessPal has been a great tool for us. I hope maybe I can contribute to this board as someone who has A) successfully lost and kept off weight and B) someone who is going through it again.
