I just joint My Fitness Pal, so far I like this site, am hoping to lose some pounds on MPF. Briefly about me, I am retired, extremely overweight, hence the reason, I am here. Most of the time I am sedentary, one of my problems is that I sit in front of my laptop too much. I am trying to use the wii to help with the exercise end of this program. Am hoping to find some Maine members to hook up as friends. One of my goals is to lose enough weight so that I can ride my bicycle again. Last year I got down to 290, but I am now back up to 315 again. It seems this is the magic number for me. I would like to get down to 280 for the spring. My ultimate goal is around 230, what I consider to be my perfect weight is 285. Not sure if I can ever see that number again. One year when I was in my mid-forties, I reached that number by bicycling 20 miles or more every day. Back then, I had a road bike, now I have a road bike and a mountain bike. I want to lose enough weight, so I can get on one of my bikes and enjoy riding once again.
