Hi! *tink* here! I'm a terribly picky eater. It's not easy to lose weight when you don't enjoy the foods you have to eat. I can't eat anything with cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, yogurt, any kind moisture against any kind of bread, avocados, strong vegetables, dressings and various gloops and glops of messy, icky things people put on foods, like gravy and heavy cream sauces (yuk!). I don't like most breakfast foods either slimey or soggy, so breakfast is the greatest challenge for me...I'm forever skipping breakfast. I rarely walk into any kind of restaurant and order "off the menu", everything needs to be adjusted, and it's difficult. Anyone out there understand my pain?

Absolutely - I have food issues with fruits and vegetables and it's nt as easy to get past as some people think it would be.

Im a very picky eater and I make it work! its easier that way to be honest!

For breaky do cereal if you can .. if not i usually do an AllBran bar, yogurt and Apple (or nutri grain bar or something)
Lunch is usually soups and veggies
  • Sorry....can't "do" cereal....too soggy, have to eat it so fast I get an upset stomach. All Bran anything is kinda gross, too. NO yogurts....EVER. UGH. I tried those Nutrigrain bars....they are too full of preservatives and chemicals for me (I read labels and reject overly-processed foods now) I don't eat anything that is essentially milk that has gone bad...cheeses, yogurts, sour cream, buttermilk, etc. That stuff just RUINS the taste of the food! My breakfasts have lately been Potato Leek soup with a couple slices of Morningstar Farms Bacon strips. I'm okay at home....it's when we go out to eat that I run into trouble (why oh why do food manufacturers and fast food companies think every blasted thing on the planet has to be dripping with hideous cheese???????) I looked into diet plans like Nutrisystem....after deleting all the yuk foods on their plans it left me with practically no choices at all. Same with Jenny Craig. They are geared towards "most" people. I'm not like "most" people. I am uniquely me. There is no money to be made with odd, unique people, evidently, so they don't even try.
