I just got a painful realization when I opened my email and saw Victoria's Secret already advertising bikinis. AUUUGHHHGHGkmlkas.

Last year, my goal was "Look good for beach season!" Yeah, that didn't happen. 5 lbs gained and lost for 12 months straight. The weekends were the tankers for me. I tend to drink some on the weekends and that just seems to kill my metabolism, on top of "WHEE, PIZZA!" which is literally right down the street and delivered hot and fresh at my laziest. Even if I don't eat a lot, if I drink, all the weight I lost the previous week by being so thoughtful and well-planned goes right out the window.

Time to stick to it this time... It sucks because I have gotten my 2nd cold in 1 month, but as soon as I'm over it (almost there...) I will start my exercise routine back up and really show you guys what I've got. T__T

Trying to cut back on some carbs (not extreme, just making a conscious effort - bread is my weakness) and be more active, and definitely try to turn those weekends around into something positive instead of the weekly let-down... So tired of that!!!

Let's all look freaking amazing for bathing suit season!

  • you can do it! just remember, practice makes permanent not perfect. today you are practicing for tomorrow and with a positive attitude and dedication you can get there. I am coming from almost the same place (started last year, hit a road bump, but ready to make a new start).
    I know with the right attitude you will reach the place you want to be!!
