what was your favorite race that gave participant medals?

    I've never done a race that gives participant medals. I just like getting the tech shirt and setting PRs for myself :)

    i call them running bling. :) i know disney does it. my first (and only) medal came from my first half-marathon. they gave them out because it was a commemorative 10-year deal. one of the races i am signed up for this year has the same thing going on and i can't wait to hang that baby up next to the treadmill for inspiration.

    I'm doing the Indy 500 Mini marathon this year. (First race ever - ACHKKK!!) I hear they give out BIG medals to all participants. Looking forward to that bling!
