Daily totals - overages

I really like that MFP calculates everything for me, especially since I am only almost a month in . . . however - I don't like that I see red numbers for my totals some days. Most of the time is is my protein, as I eat to much (from teh MFP calculations) on days that I have chicken breast for dinner. Am I missing something. I admit I am not real knowledgable about weight loss, but I am eating healthy and exercising, so I am doing something right!

Is it bad to have these figures be in the red, even if they aren't categories that are bad for you (a lot of carbs or calories etc)

    Mfp always underestimates protein, I go over mine every day. I think you can change the settings but Im happy just knowing my diet was healthy (not so much today!) and my overall calories (again today not so good for me, back on track tomorrow!) were ok.
