Over time I have learned that when it comes to losing weight
30% of it is the gym and 70% is your food.
Don't be fooled people!!!
Starving yourself won't help you lose weight, your body needs the proper nutrients!
In order to lose weight you must eat!!!!
Food is for fuel! :D

This really depends on your diet before you began losing weight. Personally, I made very little changes to my diet when I began losing weight. I've eaten a healthy diet and the same number of calories for decades. It's only when I don't exercise regularly that I gain, and only when I do exercise regularly that I lose and maintain a healthy weight. So for me, losing is more like 95% exercise and 5% diet.

i learned this after i joined mfp. i haven't lost much in the weight department, but the inches are being shedded, thanks to getting my butt up and on the yoga mat.

    good advice!
