so I just started some tough workouts and strength training and was wondering how do I restore my energy back, I can barley move a few hours after workout.. tomorrow is a rest day but I want to know what I should eat now(other than 4 ibuprofen's) to restore my strength.. all I care to do right now is sleep... would like to know what you all do..
thanks, Jim

What the hell are you doing to yourself?
I get sore 20-24 hours after lifting. Lasts a day or two in the area.
If you are just starting out, thats the culprit, it gets better, you shouldn't need medicine for pain though, unless you are injured.0 -
Definitely looking into some sort of protein shake after your workouts. I used to make one out of ice, low-fat yougurt, protein powder, scoop of peanut butter and a handful of whatever fruit is sitting in the fridge. Blend it and go.
I also love carbs after a huge workout. Even something simple like peanut butter on toast or a small sandwich.0 -
