I was reading a cooking magazine last night and noticed that one portion of a cake they had in there was over 1200 calories! Don't think I'll be baking that one any time soon.0

I went out for dinner last night, to a very, very good restaurant. The calorie 'bill' was a guesstimated 1500 cals, and I'm pretty sure that was too low, as some things could only be logged very imprecisely. I felt OK as I was eating, but absolutely awful when I got home, and had to force myself to eat a yoghurt and an apple for breakfast this morning, as I was still so full. By normal standards, although three courses and rich, high-calorie foods, it wasn't a huge meal - I certainly wouldn't have had any problems a few months ago. Amazing how much of a change has occurred in my body's expectations and ability to handle things!0
