Post workout nutrition

I have to stay away from protein powders, any ideas on good post-workout foods I can eat??

    The post workout window is close to 24 hours. Eat what you want to after you workout. It doesn't matter in terms of body composition.

    Sublog, what about quick protein assimilation after muscular lesions ? (eg whey with water and no milk)
    I've read that a post windows lengths 1 hours mainly, bull**** ?
