WANTED: Advice on and sources of recumbent exercise bikes fo

Hi y'all.

I've been trying to find a good-quality recumbent bike to use in my apartment. It's a big place, so size is not a real consideration. Price and durability, however, are.

I currently weigh 300, and hubby is considerably more. So commercial and/or sturdy machines with higher weight limits are at the top of the list. Problem is, they frequently cost more than $1500 USD. I'm willing to pay $400+/- for the right machine, new or used.

I'm in central VA, if anyone has one to sell nearby. We also drive to eastern NC regularly, and occasionally to central TN.

If anyone has any experience with recumbent bikes, and suggestions, please let me know.
