calories burnt on cross trainer.

Hi there, ive just managed to squeeze in 15 mins on my cross trainer and have gone to add the exercise on mfp. The machine says ive burnt off 51 cals which i did think was quite low and mfp says ive burnt off 179! so a huge difference and i know that neither is accurate but now im confused as to what to enter in. ive always gone with the mfp cals although i know tht sometimes they can be a bit ambitious but it has always worked for me so far and i take this into account within my calories for the day so im happy to stick with their estimate generally. What would you do??

    I do cross trainer too and I always put in the lower number! 20 mins is about 116 for me :)

    I did read on here the other day that you should half the calories mfp says you have burnt on the cross trainer. Im just going to stick with what it says on here, i dont usually eat back my exercise calories anyway so it doesnt matter a great deal.
