Back and in need of Major Back Up ;)

Heyy Guys,
I am in major need of friends as I have come back
Last year I lost 30lb but quite quickly. Over the Christmas period I became very ill and the doctors increased my calorie intake steeply and put me on pills which they warned me would make me put on weight (especially if I had lost any recently).
I have now put every single ounce that I lost last year back on. I am back at uni now which makes it especially difficult to shift the weight, but I desperatly need too as I have to fit into my competition wear for competing horses this season.
I am considering going running alongside riding and pole dancing, would like to know peoples opinions on how quickly fitness improves when you start running?
Thanks and wish me luck (:

Sorry to hear of your troubles with illness. Best of luck in losing the 30lbs (again)!!
Running is awesome. I love to run. I like the workout and the burn of it, plus a great way to let off stress.
I would encourage you also to incorporate some kind of strength routine in the mix...lifting weight at the gym, using a dvd like 30 Day Shred at home, etc etc. Strength training helps increase metabolism and burn fat more quickly than just doing pure cardio exercise. Again, best of luck and happy horse competing!0
