One thing I am going to do is mozz and tomato with a basil leaf wrapped around it on a toothpick.
  • I'd love to find a healthy recipe for BBQ Chicken Wings. My office is having a Super Bowl Party next week and I think they would go for the wings.
  • Both of those sound good!!!

Im trying to find a "healthly" low calorie wing recipe as well and also a few dips. I may do a soup depending on the weather.
  • These are not 'wing' recipes, but a couple are healthier options that taste reasonably like chicken wings. The recipes are all by a pair of Canadian cookbook authors. Approximately 30-40% of our family meals come out of their cookbooks.

Lord of the Wings (Honey Garlic) http://www.foodnetwork.ca/recipes/Poultry/recipe.html?dishid=8413

Fee Fi Fo Fried Chicken http://janetandgreta.com/recipe/530-2/

    Macho Nacho Dip (amazing) http://www.foodnetwork.ca/ontv/hosts/greta-and-janet-podleski/recipe.html?dishID=9156&hostid=41598)

For Superbowl last year we made the Lord of the Wings, Macho Nacho Dip and one of their vegetarian chili recipes.

I'm a big fan of chicken italian sausages as well as jalapeno turkey burgers. (ground turkey, a bit of salsa strained (veggies only), shredded carrot, breadcrumbs, onions, banana peppers, and jalapenos if you want them). I'm sort of obsessed with them and they're our football tailgating meals.

You can't go wrong with turkey chili. I made a batch (from skinnyms.com) and it was darn good! My husband even ate it! :)

Superbowl Sunday is going to be a cheat day for me. I work at a Chop House and they are throwing us a Superbowl party as a late Christmas party (we were too busy then and we are closed on Sundays). There is no way I'm missing the food and booze that will be floating around.
  • Very understandable. I LOVE chop house!
  • Everyone's ideas sound tasty. I will be making a few this weekend to try out before I serve to everyone since I am not the best cook. LOL.

    -turkey sliders

-loaded potato skins- dig out a lot of the potato (its crispier that way anyway) and top with reduced fat cheddar, salsa, low fat sour cream, chives or reduced fat sour cream and crumbled turkey bacon

-white chicken chili- with chunks of chicken, jalapenos, green chilies, chicken broth, lots of spices and white beans.

-veggies and trader joe's cilantro yogurt dip

-pizza cups- take whole wheat dough, press a golf ball sized piece into each cup of a muffin tin, top with marinara (which I make with about 1T of olive oil and all fresh veggies and herbs), reduced fat mozzarella, sprinkle with oregano or with one slice of pepperoni and bake.
