I have a bit of a silly question about the 30 day shred... I'm going to be doing it at home, and we have carpet floors. do I need to wear workout shoes or has anyone done it with only socks on?

I workout on carpet as well, but I've always worn shoes for this one. It's been awhile since I've done 30DS, but seems like I remember a lot of butt kicks, high knees, jogging in place - so you probably want some good foot support. The only time I go barefoot is for Jillian's yoga DVD.

Wear the shoes. It helps me hold the plank better. Socks slip and slide on the carpet and that's no fun during workouts.
  • I was okay only wearing socks the first level but on level 2 you need shoes for the reason someone else mentioned - the planks. And the jumping planks - I think that is what they're called. Anyway, good luck!

I agree with wearing shoes- more support and stability.
