Looking to help myself and others

Hey my name is Daniel and I'm a certified personal trainer and USA amaeteur boxing coach. I'm not the cookie cut mold of a personal trainer you would think of and I actually care about my clients. I work at a YMCA so its not some huge corporate place, but more of a community center where its kind of like a family feeling. I grew up there so I really enjoy helping people out when I can and giving back.

However just because I work in sports and fitness doesn't mean I haven't struggled with my weight and my nutrition. I was chunky when I was younger then got in pretty good shape when I boxed in high school. Ever since I stopped boxingI let my nutrition slack a lot. I still workout pretty hard, so I'm trying to hold myself more accountable now diet wise so I can get back into shape like I know I can.

Just introducing myself and letting people know I'm willing to help if I can in any way. I'm very interested in learning different motivating factors and techniques others have used to become successful and stay successful. Not only for myself, but for the people I work with as well.

Thanks and good luck on any goal you are on here trying to achieve.

You sound like a downtoearth coach! I love to work out, and have even consistantly for 10 yrs!! Am a bit addicted, in fact! It's the eating part that drags me down. Would love motivation and help and I'm happy to share my experiences as well!
