I just got my wisdom teeth out and i was told I can not workout for 4 days (until monday) and i can only eat soft foods (again until monday) so should i worry about trying to stay within my calories and macros or should i just eat whatever i can and want for these for days even though i can not work out?

I would still try to stay within my calories....macros might be a little harder...but with protein shakes and ice cream it shouldn't be too bad.

I'm not trying to scare you just a "don't do what I did" kind of thing....4 years ago I had lost weight and was the same weight I am now.....then I got my wisdom teeth out. I thought, "oh man, I'm going to lose even more!" Well, that's not the way it worked out. It completely derailed me. I, of course, could only eat certain things and ended up falling off the "diet bandwagon." Then every time I tried to run (that was my exercise of choice back then) my gum sockets hurt so bad I had to stop! I eventually stopped trying altogether.

Good luck and take it easy for a while. :flowerforyou:

Do what they say! I got dry sockets and man, was it PAINFUL!! Don't use a straw and don't eat anything that can get stuck in the holes. Sugar free Jello should be your friend for a while.

just wondering if it will really effect my bulking eating whatever soft foods i want (mainly ice cream, jello, yogurt, and protein shakes) and not working out for these four days
