Hi!
I am traveling out of town for work next week and wanted to know any suggestions you may have for staying on track with my diet and exercise. It can be very hard when you eat out because you are traveling, and trying to find time to work out. Any help?
Thanks!

I bring protein bars, and oatmeal with me when I travel. I also take a small DVD player or laptop and a workout DVD to do in the room, or I make sure that I stay at a hotel with a gym. Good luck0

Travel with a resistance band! That's something you can do while watching TV. I used to travel a lot and needed to unwind and didn't have a bunch of time to get to a gym.0

Just about every hotel has a gym.0

I usually eat very well on business travel because my job is paying for that super healthy, nutrient dense food, and my commute is way shorter (because I get a hotel right near the job site).
Idk...it's the opposite for me. I have an easier time staying on track. I don't have to cook for anyone. Someone else is cleaning up after me. I don't have to walk my dogs. I have so much time, it's crazy...0 -
Use the hotel gym, even if it's junky. Also, you can be the strange person running the stairs in the hotel for a good workout.
Many people get off track when traveling because they use it as an excuse. If you don't let it be one for you, you'll find that it's not that hard to stay on track.0 -

I enjoy sleeping in Hilton beds.
I tend to eat less on business trips because I don't typically snack.0 -
I'm going on a business trip soon too and I plan to stay on track. It's difficult for me because usually at meetings at my company there is both healthy food and a wide array of treats. So I can make healthy choices, I just have to commit to doing so. Good luck!0

I use the hotel gym or go for walks/runs around where I'm staying at. I pack lots of healthy, dry snacks I can keep in my hotel room:
nuts, trail mix, protein bars, protein powder (bring a water bottle so you can just fill up when you need to), dried fruit, etc. Just make the best decisions you can in the moment, that's all you can really do.0
