Healthy Advertising and Toddlers & Tiaras?

Setting: So yesterday I'm watching this program about moms who try and relive their live-Barbie fantasies by dressing little girls up like - well, I don't know exactly how to describe it - and the commercial break comes on the air.

The first two commercials: One was for Sensa - apparantly I can sprinkle it on a double scoop ice cream cone and lose weight. Yay. The other was for WhoNu cookies.

Now, has anyone actually seen the advertisement for this, because from what I can tell they're pretty much just advocating feeding your kid cookies instead of actual food.

I was totally picturing these vanity-oriented tiger moms feeding their toddlers WhoNu Sensa-sprinkled ice cream sandwich cookies to prep for their walk across the stage. They were already giving their 2 year olds giant pixy stix, so why not.

Anyone else curious about the types of advertisements that end up with your programming? Was it false advertising, or just brilliant marketing?
