Sticking with what works

I've lost 15 lbs since October (10 before I got here) and was anxious to see things pick up a bit. I've been reading about eating back exercise calories and zig-zagging so I decided to give it a shot. Unfortunately, the scale moving up makes me too nervous! I get it may take a while for it all "to go into effect" so to speak, but I'm just gonna stick with what I know was working. Slow and steady is gonna have to win this race! Anybody else just sticking with tried and true methods?

Ive been dealing with a stall for the last week. I have slowly incorporated different foods into my diet...but not more food. So..we shall see if this helps.0

The problem is, if you're undereating currently, that's a tried and true method for wrecking your metabolism and reducing muscle mass. I doubt that is your true goal.0

Nutritious, well-balanced meals in sensible portions, plenty of water, and moving my body are what worked for me. I generally listened to MFP's recommendations, although I tweaked the macro % a little bit to work for my body (because everyone is a little different)0

Anything more than that strips away too much muscle which lowers metabolism.
I want quality weight loss - not just to go from fat to skinny fat.0 -

I completely understand, but at some point, it will probably affect your long term results. But we an always approach that when you get there. And really keep in mind, weight doesn't matter too much. I have seen plenty of women gain 10-20 lbs and look better, see examples below.
