    Both- but rooting for the black and gold and wearing their tee shirt will only make you better looking and everyone will know you're really smart

    Carbs have lots of calories, a double edge sword

    CHO = 4 cals per g
    PRO = 4 cals per g
    FAT = 9 cals per g

    Here's what matters:

    Calories represent energy
    Your body uses a certain amount of energy
    If you eat more energy than your body uses, it will be stored in fat
    If you eat less energy than your body uses, it will use the energy stored in fat

    The three sources of calories (energy) are fat, protein, and carbs. If you eat more energy than you need through any combination of these categories, you will gain weight.

    A calorie is a calorie. My 2 cents is to mix it up so that you body gets a variety of fruits, veggies and protein. Fat is embedded in the above, inevitably. Use spices and salsa, herbs, etc. to jazz up your food so that it tastes great - to you!

    Its the calories in the carbs. Or the carbs in the calories. Or both.

    They're both evil. Don't eat them.

    Calories are the basic unit of measurement, carbs would be in the macros.

    Weight loss is all about calories in vs. calories out. There are reasons to limit carbs, but limiting them without limiting caloric intake will not result in weight loss.

    That being said, there is some merit to limiting carb intake. I try to keep my carbs under 150g per day because I find that proteins and fats help keep me fuller longer and seem to work better for me.

    I think it depends on what side of the equator you live on. I saw it on Bill Nye the Science Guy a few years back. So basically, that makes it fact.
