Anyone out there who primarily followed a weight training + HIIT program to lose 100+ pounds?
I just read a long thread about whether cardio or weight training was the best method for fat loss. I got great information from both sides of the argument.
I also recently read this and must say I am intrigued (basically says to kill long, slow steady-state cardio if it's fat loss you're after):

I am very curious to hear from folks who have lost a significant amount of weight and are of the opinion that cardio is unnecessary and inefficient for fat loss. Ok, maybe that's too extreme, but you get my drift. No, I'm not looking for a fight, I'm mostly curious to see what progress there has been for these people -- Or if weight training + HIIT intervals is something best suited for people that don't have that much weight to lose and are already in shape.
