Is it an issue if I go over on protein?

    Nope, only reason to worry about protein is if you are not getting enough.

    I had like 275 grams today

    that is a bit ridiculous, but no it shouldn't be an issue if you're on MFP levels and are drinking enough water/eating enough fiber

    Protein is good for you specially if you are working out on a regular basis. I try to intake more protein on my weight training days. My personal experience is that when I weight train and I intake higher protein it helps me not get sore cuz protein is very well know as an aid for muscle healing.
