Getting weak very fast.

I am a father to be. Expecting our first kid this may 5th. I have been thinking more and more to be healthy so i be able to live longer and stay healthy to spend time with my amazing wife and kid. i have a good control on my diet but when i try to run or use elliptical i get weak real fast. i used to smoke cigarettes and i did that for a long time. Can any one tell me what I can do to do work out more. Thanks.

    First of all, congrats! It's wonderful that you're taking your life back so you can be there for your child.
    Stamina takes a long time to build up; you can't expect to be able to exercise for a long time straight away; otherwise we would all be in great shape! Try doing it for however long you can, and then doing it for that long every workout until it feels easier. Then add a minute or two. Gradually building up will help your body better adjust. You can do it! :D

    TY . i thought about using supplements ? is that a good idea ?

    A supplement is only useful if you are deficient in something in your diet. If you are deficient in fitness, then a carefully considered exercise program is what your body needs.
