When my weight is up, I don't let it get me down.

Sometimes I step on the scale in the middle of the week and I'm up 3lbs, sometimes I'm down 1lb. The end of the week is what really matters...Friday is weigh in day. The first week I weighed myself I was terrified and anxious about losing weight. I did lose a couple pounds and that motivated me to continue working out, and eating better.

On the days my weight is up, I don't give up or quit working out. I may not see a different, or even lower number this week, but I've been working hard the entire time. If you really want to lose weight, there has to be patience involved.

Keep working towards your goal, and if you slip and skip a workout, or eat an entire package of oreos, you can still get back up and continue towards your goal.

My first thought was "mmmm oreos!"

My second was that's great. Something I'm learning but it can be hard! Why do numbers have to mean so much?

    hehe

In one part of "Made to Crave" the author talks about how she encouraged herself by asking herself had she done all that she was supposed to do that week (exercise, eat right, spiritual, etc) and if the answer was YES then she told herself she'd done the best she could and not to worry about it. Some weeks are like that.
