Went to the doctor today... found out there is a side effect to losing weight and exercise... I have to cut something ELSE out of my diet... BLOOD PRESSURE PILLS! yay!!! In August, my blood pressure was 149/92. Today: 106/69! Woop! I'm liking those numbers :-)

    Wonderful news, how fantastic!

I'm hoping to follow your lead and get off cholesterol meds!
  • Part of the reason I started this journey was because I ended up in the ER a few months ago with blurry vision due to extremely high BP. They had to keep me till it came down to be sure I did not have a stroke. My Aunt had a stroke at the age of 21. I have had my BP under control for a while now and have been off the pills, but I just feel the need to get healthy now to be sure I will be here for my kids.

Well done that's amazing. It's so easy to get caught up in what we look like when we have lost a bit of weight, that we sometimes neglect to notice that our health actually is improving too (and this is actually more important!).

I'm lucky enough not to have high blood pressure but since losing 12lbs I've noticed that I'm sleepting better.

    Here's to good health!
