WeightWatchers and other low cal snacks

Does anyone have any opinion on these and their effect on dieting? I've just bought some WeightWatchers sultana and cinnamon cookies and some nairns dark chocolate chip oat biscuits as I love to have a biscuit with a cup of tea/ for a sweet treat. I know they're obviously better than snacking on 'real' biscuits, and not as good as snacking on fruit, but I do get bored of fruit after a while!
