WHAT do I do for tight abs/arms?

I'm really wanting to work on my abs and arms. I run a lot so my legs are strong and endurance up. My arms and abs are okay but I want the whole body deal. I don't need a six pack but I want tight, flat, strong in both areas. I'm really interested in trying something for 30-60 days and doing a picture comparison. I'd like to see what everyone out there has to suggest... be it supplements, eating style, DVD workouts, or online challenges. I'm doing Tough Mudder again at the end of the year and I've gotta say, I'd love it if I could be one of those women that rocked the obstacles!

You need to build some muscle, and it takes a lot longer than 30-60 days.

It would be an all-year process. TM isn't until September. The 30-60 day bit is just for a comparison - to see that it is having an effect.

    This above

I personaly like P90X DVD series with heavy weights low reps, protein levels of one gram per lb lean body mass, not to low on calories. (90 day plan)
Its a complete body workout program, don't ignore the lower body. even though you run, resistance training can add some great improvements overall to your performance.

Chalene Extreme also a good, and similar DVD series, a bit easier for beginners

New Rules Lifting for Women is a good book, if you want to go that route.

I think Stronglifts website is another also mentioned often, that is good.

Inch measurements will give a better guide overall to show improvement, and realistically, you will probably need to plan for a 90 day picture range. 30-60 days changes may not appear visually on a photo.
