My name is Bonnie. I'm 20, been chubby/overweight about two-thirds of my life.

This whole past year, I've been between like 287 and 292, and that's too close to 300 for my comfort. I told myself I'd never reach 300. So I decided this is a good time to get into gear and lose weight before I do reach that high.

I'm doing a partial Slim-Fast diet, and for exercise I do: Biggest Loser cardio max DVD or Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds DVD that has 3 workouts- 1 mile, 2 mile, and 3 mile.

I've been working at this for a lil over two weeks now and am still going pretty strong, which is surprising cuz every other time I've tried to lose weight I've quit after a week or week and a half due to lack of motivation/determination.

So far I've lost 5 pounds and am proud of it.

Congratulations on your choice to better your life!

Eat well, and track your calories, weigh yourself weekly (although I admit--I weigh daily! :embarassed: and measure, measure, MEASURE your body parts!

If you like to read inspiring blogs, take a look at mine  located here at MFP (the address is in my signature).
