Hi there. It is spelled "a lot" with a space between the words a and lot.

There is no such word as "alot." ...Unless you are speaking of this fictional Alot --> http://hyperboleandahalf.blogspot.com/2010/04/alot-is-better-than-you-at-everything.html

I apologize for the rant, but I feel as though Manny Pacquiao uppercuts my jaw each time I see "alot."
