Hi Friends.,
I started with MFP last July (2011) but discontinued after 3 weeks due to bad health. I started when I was 158lbs and ended up being my highest ever at 163 lbs by November 2011.
Wanted to hit the track back in December 2011 but my health has been disturbing often, most of the times due to my eating habits. I was not eating anything till mid afternoon (3PM) and then hog on food till I sleep.
All said, I started watching my cals since Jan 2012 again and though I was on medication till this Wednesday, I continued watching my food and not eating unnecessary stuff and managed to get off 3.5lbs so far. I had no energy to start with exercising. So far, I managed to burn some cals doing household chores and now I wanna start with Jillian Michael s 30 Day Shred and continue with Ripped in 30. I wanna get back to my 130lbs weight range by working-out and not fad diets.
I need a lot of guidance here on how to keep it running for longer time consistently as my biggest draw back is consistency![:( :(](https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/resources/emoji/frowning.png)
My questions are :
1. What time would be the best to do the 30DS ?? Do I need to eat anything or having a protein-shake is sufficient before the work-out?
2. After how much time of post work-out, should I consume solid food? And what would be the best choices for a Vegetarian (Not egg or Meat) ?
Please suggest me the right way of eating to keep myself energetic throughout the work-out as well as for long run. I need everyone's support here to shed those 30lbs off my body.
and keep it off forever.
Thank you ALL!

Food is fuel and not fun or entertainment. The sooner you embrace this, the easier it will be for you.0
