My profile says "You should lose 5.7 lbs by February 28"

That would be amazing if I do actually accomplish that.

Anyone else wish to share theirs?

Right here with my butt in front of the computer

Mine is set to 1 lb a week - but I usually only lose 1/2 lb a week. I'm ok with that - so don't be disappointed - it a long struggle to win.
  • mine says 6.9 pounds but i dont need to lose all those pounds but one time i lose 10 pounds in one week

Mine says 14, but I worked my butt off at the gym today. 850 exercise calories! So I have over 500 that won't be eaten today. It usually is 5-6ish.
  • that is good keep working!

i try not to eat my exercise calories.
  • I haven't touch my exercise calories. It seems pointless to lose it and to put it back?
  • Is that something that it calculates for you or is it a goal you set for yourself? I cannot seem to locate it. Will you point me in the right direction? My self directed goal for 2/28 is to weigh 136. For 1/31 its 144 - I have six days to loose 1.5 lbs - which I believe I can do.

yeah Im with Sara on that. I cant locate it either.
  • You can find the info at the bottom of your chart. "you have earned _______ calories from exercise. "
  • I am supposed to be about 10 pounds lighter in 5 weeks. But I know I have been not eating all my calories. I am just running out of healthy food. 5 more days until payday. I will say that my best day was when I lost 3 pounds in one day. That day I ate all my calories including my earned calories from exercising which is about 600. Since then it has been hard to loose because I don't get all my calories in. I think it is healthy and important to eat your earned calories as long as you are choosing the right food. That is my own opinion though. Heidi:flowerforyou:
  • so if you don't eat your earned calories, you will not loose?

I am in the same boat-- In addition to eating all my calories and losing wieght that day, I also have realized that if I dont work out as hard, or at all, and stick to just my 1200 for the day, I lose it quicker. Not to say this is the healthiest way, but it is working.

I'm supposed to be down 11.5 lbs by February 29th.

Most of the time I do eat some of my earned calories. I figure my body needs to replace the fuel it used! I'm usually around 1500 - 1700 calories eaten per day and I usually burn between 350 - 600 calories in a workout. I workout 6 days a week.
  • so if you don't eat your earned calories, you will not loose?
  • so if you don't eat your earned calories, you will not loose?
    .
You Know -I think that you still probably will. Everyone is different. I just Know that when I compare the days when I ate my earned cals I have done so much better. Like yesturday I actually gained a pound and I had 650 calories left, whats up with that? I worked out in the morning and at night. It could be that I am gaining muscle to though. When I first joined this website I was putting my exercise in at the end of the day so I would not have to see how much more cals I could eat. I did not want to eat the extra cals. I was not going anywhere in my weight. Only down maybe one pound. I don't want my body to think that I am starving it. You just have to see what works for you. I am definently am not an expert on this. Good luck!! Heidi:flowerforyou:

I think you should eat some, if not of all of your burned calories. There is a limit and it all depends on what you actually put inside your body but eating your burned calories is a treat to yourself.

I don't usually eat all my burned calories but I try and eat most of it, esp if I am still hungry.

Mine says around 10, but I would be thrilled with any.
  • I see that on the daily input chart but I dont see a consolidation of earning through exercise. What part of the profile is it on specifically?

I can't find it either. The only thing mine says is how much I should weigh in 5 weeks, but not how many pounds I should lose by a certain date. Where can you find this info?

    Thanks
  • You are doing better than I am... I cant find that
