I my name is Janet ! I have been real motivated on working out and have been doing the turbo jam video for 15 weeks and have lost 9 lbs. 2 weeks ago I had my appendex rupture and now I am layed up for one month without working out. Went to the doctors today and he said I can lift 5lb weights for my arms and do some walking. He said the best thing for me to do is keep track of my calorie intake and to keep it at 1200 per day because I am not exercising. I hope to stay focused and motivated in one month. I am also planning a trip to Florida for 2 weeks and won't have a computer to help me keep track of calories guess I will have to use the old book and note paper. I plan on using any exercise equipment available to keep me on track. My problem is when I fall off the wagon I can't get motivated to get back on. Summer is coming and I want to look good in a bathing suit. I am also reading lots of books Body for Life for Women 12 week program. Summer is less than 12 weeks and I need to lose another 10 lbs.

Congratulations on your choice to better your life!

Eat well, and track your calories, weigh yourself weekly (although I admit--I weigh daily! :embarassed: and measure, measure, MEASURE your body parts!

If you like to read inspiring blogs, take a look at mine  located here at MFP (the address is in my signature).

Friend me, if you like. I am always here to listen and support! :flowerforyou:
