What is/was your weakest "spot"? What did you struggle with the most when you started lifting/strength training? How long did it take you to toughen up that area?
For me- I'm finding my shoulders are immensly weak!! Almost all the exercises I do for my shoulders are overly hard but I'm pushing through!!

    Hamstrings: Natural GHR's
Grip: Farmers Walks, and dead lifts
    Chest: bench bench bench

After a month or so of training i'd say i was finally feeling like they were now a strength.

I have insanely weak ankles. I have been doing yoga on and off for years and did gymnastics when I was a kid so they shouldn't be as bad as they are but they suck. My balance is terrible. I think its because I broke one of them when I was little, some stuff just doesn't heal right. They are getting stronger though since I have been more consistent with my yoga and strength training.

My ankles suck! Also a former gymnast with countless ankle injuries. What really helped me was just standing on one leg on the bosu ball.

My weakness is probably my quads. They look pretty ripped, but it's deceiving. They are sissies.

Shoulders. They hurt after every work out even with wimpy weights. but they have gotten stronger.
  • I just started doing 6 weeks 6 pack by Jillian Michaels.. There is a move that I can't do AT ALL and that is the side planks with knee raises... I just CAN'T no matter how much I try. My right ankle always give me problems.

My knees. Losing weight and strengthening my quads, hamstrings, shins, and calf muscles will/has help(ed). Walking hills, leg lifts, calf raises, squats and lunges are a must.

Shoulders and chest are both weak in my mind. I am struggling to break 100 lbs on the standing overhead barbell press 5x5 and have stalled, deloaded and worked back up to break through 140 on bench press

I have always had weak ankles, but running has really helped that. My weakest area is my lower back these days. I don't really know what to do about it.

Shoulders and triceps..... especially when working out with Jillian Michaels and all those planks....
I used to have issue with my quads but they are starting to strenghten up nicely, more so than my triceps. It all comes in time, we just have to keep on working..
