So I am not a huge partier or anything but I like to have fun. My husband asks me this morning to think of something I want to do on my birthday which is Monday which is a day I am taking off from work (and he has off). I'm not sure if I want to go out of town for like a casino or anything like that but I just need ideas...what do I do on my birthday???

For birthdays we usually get beer somewhere and a movie. Once you hit 22 it seems like it just becomes a blur. 21 was AWESOME... well not my 21 was pretty meh but usually for people it is and after that it's like, "Okay? Now what?"

But I would just throw something together you both would enjoy as a date night. Doesn't have to be expensive or fancy... just fun. We honestly can barely recall birthdays anymore because it just seems like it's more for an excuse to go out and have fun then actually having to do a big celebration like you would for a kid.

Even though my grandmother still throws big birthdays for us older grand kids!
  • Go roller skating! It's fun and you'll get some exercise in too :) Then maybe a movie afterwards so you guys can rest.

Hey I turn 23 next Sat! But I don't have a husband :( So I'm getting drunk with my girlfriends and my twin lol but since you have such a lovely hubby dinner and a show...and maybe some canoodling always works well...or mini golf/bowling are classics

On my 22nd last year, I roamed around the city and window shopped by myself for awhile. Then my husband and best friends took me to a Tiki Bar. It was nice because we went somewhere we would normally never spend the money. Another fun night is if you have a good bowling lane near you, you could enjoy that.

    Daytime plans:
    Brunch somewhere nice
Going to a patisserie and picking out a little torte to enjoy with coffee
Take a romantic walk (if it isn't too cold)
Go to a museum or gallery (if you enjoy those things)
  • Challenge yourself. I hiked to the top of Mission Peak with my husband. It was beautiful!
