Starting 30DS

So I FINALLY got my husband to agree to do 30DS with me. I think 20 mins, 3 times per week, really sold it for him ;-). Anyway, what can we expect? I'm about 5 lbs. over my goal weight right now but I only ever wanted to lose 5-7 lbs in the first place. He's at 245 (6'5) and wanting to get down into the 230s again as an initial goal. Do you guys have any suggestions or tips? We've been counting calories since the end of last summer, so we're already accustomed to eating healthy. Should we be adding more protein or anything?

    You should expect to lose inches more than lbs. But 30ds is great for those belly inches.

    That's fine by me, I'm not too worried about the scale; just want to tighten up my stomach a little and lose the love handle bits ;-)
