mcdonalds parfait

My boyfriend and I were out looking at houses later than we planned and we were too hungry to wait till we got home to cook dinner, so we got Mcdonalds. I really didn't want to eat badly, but didn't like any of the salads, so I got a fruit and yogurt parfait and a grilled chicken ranch wrap. The parfait was soooooo good.....I'm so glad I tried it so now if I need a quick snack and don't have much money on me, that's a great option.
I probably should have gotten the snack wrap without sauce, though I only went over by like 78 calories. Certainly not as much damage as Mcdonalds could have done.

Parfait-- now a parfait is probably the best thing on the whole damn planet-- whoops-- sorry-- slipped into my Shrek donkey there for a minute--
seriously-- they rule-- 130 calories, can't be beat!0 -
I haven't tried the parfait, but I want to try it.
The wraps are good. They put too much sauce on them anyway. It's a good idea to get it without sauce.0 -
We make these at home and keep them on hand for snacks and breakfast on the go. I change them up a lot and use fat free plain yogurt. I use vanilla and a little honey to sweeten the yogurt. I also make homemade granola to use. Cheap, quick, easy, healthy AND yummy!0

I make a parfait for my breakfast most mornings but they have never been as good as the mcdonalds one (that sounds weird, for anything from mcdonalds to be that good). Honey in the yogurt is a good idea though, I'll have to try that.0 -

Making them ahead and letting the flavors blend a bit is the trick I think. I use frozen berries and let them sit in the fridge for at least 12 hours to get them closest to the McD's ones.0 -

ah, good point. Lately I have been using dried fruit or covered raisins, but if I switch back to fresh or frozen fruit I will have to try that.0
