Calorie burn during P90X workout

How does everyone account for the calorie burn achieved during a P90X workout?

    I would get a hrm. Some Log it in under cardio

    My girlfriend looked it up on her IPad and all sources were stating 600 calories per workout. As sugguested I put my HM on and sure enough 600 calories after the workout. At least for the core synergistic workout.
