I need to reread this each time I get frustrated, because I only have ten to fifteen pounds to lose in the first place, and I really like to eat.0

Just curious...you don't address eating back your the calories you burned. Is it possible to get the nutrients you need eating only 1200 cals...regardless of how much you burn?0

This question has been addressed many, many times on MFP. I can't tell you whether you are or are not going to get the essential nutrients that your body needs by eating 1200 calories a day and not eating back exercise calories. There are just too many variables. Is it possible? Yes, but not long term. Is it recommended for the average dieter on MFP? No.
Not eating back your exercise calories can create too large of a calorie deficit (MFP already gives you a deficit before exercise). Huge calorie deficits can actually hurt you in terms of fat loss, they are hard to adhere to, they interfere with training, and can impact your metabolic rate.

"When stress increases on the body, so does the need for higher amounts of nutrients. This is why we need more food when we spend more energy. We expend less, we need less. We expend more, we need more. This is why the practice of “do a lot more, take in a lot less” spells problems." Leigh Peele0 -

My BMR is now only 1,271 I'm not sure what my TDEE is but I'm on my last 5 lbs. I'm trying to do 1,000cals burned in exercise a day to make a bigger deficit and still only eating 1,000-1,200 as the last few months I've only lost 1-2lbs a MONTH so stopped joining the 5lb a month challenges on here as I just can't lose 5lbs in a month anymore.
How do I work out my TDEE? I think on here cos it automatically takes off a deficit for you and just gives you that number it doesn't tell me what my TDEE number is.0 -
I am going to copy and paste this to email my coworker. I was trying to explain to her how she can't expect to lose 2 lbs a week when she is 5' 2" and 130 lbs. Thank you.0
