im struggling to drink enough water, though I drink watered down juice. Does this count or should I drink plain water? I've seen people say that they lose more weight drinking water, why is this?

I would definitely put lemon, lime, and/or orange slices in plain water before drinking watered down juice. Blech!
I'm not well-schooled on the science behind it, but your body has to be properly hydrated in order to function and lose weight. You need to drink a MINIMUM of 64 ounces of water a day.0 -
If you aren't a fan of regular water it will grow on you after a while. I used to hate it... now I drink at least 3L a day. I love it now.
Regular water is definately the best for you. Juice, even watered down will use up calories that can be used for fruits, veggies etc.
I always lose better when I drink a lot of water. Water helps everything within your body function. Your body needs water. Water is also good for weight loss because a lot of time we feel hungry but it's because we are thirsty, not hungry. Drinking water before meals also helps you feel full sooner and therefore cutting out those extra calories.0
